The Indian sugar industry has achieved a record sugar production and emerged once again as the world’s largest producer of sugar. “In addition to financial resources another positive contribution of the sugar sector was the impact made on industrial development by its human resources.” When such decisive is the role of sugar industry to play in country’s economy it is but apparent that technology should be coupled with the simplified process & aimed at increasing productivity and profitability by reducing the chronology invested in manual handling. The Sugar ERP package is divided into seven broad categories namely Financial Accounting, Stores Accounting, Payroll, Cane cutting & Order Permits, Cane accounting and Lab Analysis.

FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING
This module deals with the day-to-day Cash, Bank transactions of the factory. The main input comes through Receipt Voucher, Debit Voucher, Sales Invoice and Adjustment voucher. Financial Accounting module is divided into various sub-modules, Masters, Sub-module is a one- time entry module taking care of all master details. The daily transactions like cash Receipt, Bank Receipt, and Debit Voucher etc. are maintained in the Transaction sub- module. All the daily as well as periodical reports like Day Book, Sales Registers, and General Ledger etc. can be generated through Reports sub Module.
STORES ACCOUNTING
The Stores module of the factory deals with the material accounting module. Basically the entire inventories are related with engineering items like bearings, nuts, bolts etc. and are divided into various categories. Stores Accounting module is divided into various sub-modules The Masters sub module is a one- ime entry module taking care of all Master details.The Valuation of the Material is done through Valuation sub-module. The entire Periodical reports like ICRR Register, MIR Register, and Stock Ledger Statement etc. are generated through Reports sub-module.
CANE CUTTING ORDER PERMITS
This module deals with the day-to-day Cash, Bank transactions of the factory. The main input comes through Receipt Voucher, Debit Voucher, Sales Invoice and Adjustment voucher. Financial Accounting module is divided into various sub-modules, Masters, Sub-module is a one- time entry module taking care of all master details. TRANSACTION
Details like plantation schedule, member supply agreements, recovery, and mode of transport, permit card changes, Seed Loans, fertilizer / pesticide loans, NRD (Non Refundable Deposit) are fed in to the system.
CANE ACCOUNTING
This module deals with details such as loans, cane receipts etc. Based on the agreed quantity, factory gives different loans such as Fertilizer (Urea, Potash, DAP, Others) loan, Cash Subsidy, Seed cane loans (limit is fixed for every year), Margin money loan for bore well etc.
PAYROLL
This module maintains every month&’s payroll for permanent /seasonal employees as well as NMR / Apprentice. The module is divided into various sub-modules Masters Sub- module is a one-time entry module taking care of all master details.
REPORT
Remove information isolation, gain a single source of truth, and get quick replies to mission critical questions related to business.
PROCESS
This sub module caters to the grouping of cane, permits generation, NRD transfer and FD interest calculations.
LAB ANALYSIS
This module deals with lab section operations such as cane sampling, crushing and testing. The Lab Analysis module is divided into various sub-modules. Sub-module is a one-time entry module taking care of all master details.
